ERIC V. GILKEY
Editor-in-Chief
Eric Gilkey joined Claims in February 2005 as editorial assistant. He was promoted to associate editor in January 2006, managing editor in July 2007, and editor in chief in June 2008. Eric manages all editorial matters and works with industry experts to solicit educational and newsworthy material for both the magazine's print and web outlets. In addition, he serves as conference chair to the magazine's yearly ACE Conference, held in June.
Eric has a background in freelance writing and is a graduate of Ohio University.
CHRISTINA BRAMLET
Senior Editor
Christina Bramlet joined Claims in April 2008 as senior editor.  She is responsible for the monthly development of various editorial sections of the magazine, all final edits, and coordinates with contributing writers. In addition to a background in freelance writing, Christina has extensive professional writing and editing experience in the trade magazine arena. She is a graduate of University of Cincinnati.
KEN BROWNLEE
Iconoclast
Ken Brownlee, CPCU, AIC, ARM, has spent over 31 years as a multi-line adjuster and as a corporate risk and claim manager for Crawford & Co. In addition to editing and updating four insurance claims-related textbooks, he has also written two editions of National Underwriter Co.'s Winning by the Rules, Ethics & Success in the Insurance Profession, and has been a columnist for Claims, and its predecessor, Insurance Adjuster Magazine, since the late 1970s.
 
Brownlee is a founding member of the CPCU Claims Section, and edited the CPCU Claims Quarterly for several decades, also contributing to CPCU educational texts. He continues to write claim courses for educational institutions, lectures, and does expert witness and claim consulting work. He and his wife, Madonna, reside in Atlanta, Ga.
KEVIN M. QUINLEY
Columnist
Kevin Quinley has over 30 years of experience in claims and is an insurance claim expert, trainer, author, and consultant.  He is the author of numerous articles and 10 books. He holds the CPCU designation as well as four specialty designations from the Insurance Institute of America: Claims (AIC), Risk Management (ARM), Management (AIM), and Reinsurance (ARe). Quinley serves on the Advisory Board of the Council of Litigation Management and the Insurance Institute’s Board of Ethical Inquiry. He holds a B.A. from Wake Forest University and an M.A. from the College of William & Mary.
